"The poems in Suddenly, So Much yield more on each re-reading. From the playful to the heartbreakingly beautiful, the essence of this book is transformation and grace in the midst of ruin. These are poems with the depth we hope for in poetry a rich and deeply moving book." Kate Braid
Sandy Shreve has published three previous poetry collections, and she has a special interest in "form" as a barrier to be broken through, form as the containment that allows for transcendence. Her work has won the Earle Birney Prize for Poetry and been short listed for the Milton Acorn People’s Poetry Award and the National Magazine Awards (for poetry). She was raised in Sackville, New Brunswick, and now lives in Vancouver, BC.
